Foreshadowing...

We figured that we should get our future baby ready for a life with us as its parents so we went to a Nationals game 4th of July weekend with Lauren & Patrick (it was Lauren's b-day). Yes, it was a hot night but we had amazing seats, the game was good, & the fireworks show afterward was incredible so it was all worth it! Go Nats!!

Baby Shower

My high school friends Jenny Collins, Kelly Potts, & Laura Lund threw me a small baby shower on June 18th. It was such a special day - thank you ladies!!

Memorial Day Weekend...

Every year the Kump family celebrates Susie's birthday at their grandmother's house in VA Beach. This year there was an new addition - Mike & Lizzie's daughter, Catie. So there were 10 adults and 9 kids! Next year there will be 2 new little ones (ours & Amy & Will's) :) It was a great weekend!!

Furniture!!!

After the excitement of graduation weekend we got the call that our nursery furniture was in. My parents & I drove to Manassas to pick it up, Patrick came over to help carry it into the nursery, & then Cyrus & I put the crib together. We LOVE it! Isn't it nice when you buy something, wait forever for it to come in, get it home & you still think it's as great as when you saw it in the store? Brilliant!!

Walking The Lawn...

As most of you know, two weeks ago I finally got to Walk The Lawn for UVA graduation. My parents, both sisters, and Cyrus were there to watch and it was an amazing experience. I'm glad is over though - it was such a long time coming :) The rain held off for the day but it was SUPER hot (esp. for me!). So many of you were extrememly supportive throughout my UVA career & I thank every single one of you from the bottom of my heart!
